For tax year 2022 and beyond CCA has changed submittal of W-2 and Form-1099 datasets to utilizing an encrypted and secure web based reporting method. Please review the CCA Submittal Procedures for more information. These specifications are based on the current IRS specifications and are available to download via the links below.

         The required print form that must accompany the submittal of W-2 or FORM-1099 datasets to CCA for processing or conformance verification. An interactive form is also available.

  • CCA Conformance Report Template  - Revised 11/29/2021
         The template used for reporting conformance issues to employers on the W-2 or FORM-1099 datasets sent to CCA for processing.

  • CCA Data Format Specification  - Revised 12/14/2021
         The conformance specification used by employers or their agents producing W-2 and FORM-1099 datasets for submittal to CCA for processing. This specification provides numerous clarifications, guidance and recommendations which are      used in conjunction with the CCA Data Format Field Dictionary for conformance with the IRS, State of Ohio Department of Taxation and CCA W-2 and FORM-1099 specifications.

         Procedures for employers or their agents who have data security policies that require secure transmission of sensitive information. Used in conjunction with the CCA Data Encryption Certificate.

         Public key encryption certificate for employers or their agents who have data security policies that require secure transmission of sensitive information. Used in conjunction with the CCA Data Encryption Procedures.
